What are the 2024 TDA rules ?

The Poker Tournament Directors Association (TDA) rules are a set of guidelines designed to harmonize and standardize poker tournament rules worldwide. Founded in 2001, the association’s mission is to create a uniform and fair experience across tournament play. These rules complement the house rules of each establishment and defer to gaming agency regulations in case of any conflict​​.

TDA rules are primarily intended for tournament directors, dealers, and other tournament staff responsible for overseeing events. They cover key aspects such as decision-making in disputes (always prioritizing fairness and the best interests of the game), managing player actions and announcements, card distribution, pot management, and player behavior.
